EOS: Evolution of Smooth

EOS lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.

I saw a vlogger use and mention this lip balm several times when watching her videos. I was at Walmart a couple weeks ago and by the checkout isle where they have all those items they put there as an impulse buy, I saw these lip balms. I figured I'd give it a try and I absolutely love it! I bought the Summer Fruit flavor (the coral colored), it's so smooth and smells delicious. I use it on a daily basis and even if I wear some kind of lip color I always put on my lip balm first. I want to try the other flavors so soon I will have a collection in my bag.

I recently saw they have other products like body lotions and shaving creams. If I decide to use these other products I'll be sure to do a review.

Ready for summer: Coral Nails

Summer can't get here any sooner! I'm already using spring/summer nail polish colors because although I love the winter season I love the vivid spring and summer colors. This is Avons Nailwear Pro in "Coral Bikini". It's so pretty and bright, I wanted to spice it up a bit so I added some Amber colored rhinestones to half of my ring finger nail at an angle. It gives it a pretty twist without overwhelming the nails.

Must haves..

I wanted to share a couple things I have and love. Since it's winter I'm in desperate need of a tan. I have very fair skin which doesn't help my situation, but this doesn't stop me from wearing skirts. I use this self tanning lotion on my legs to help them match my skin tone on my upper body. You usually shed more dead skin on your legs because of the constant use of razors and or waxing which makes your tan fade faster. I use this lotion during the summer too, it gives me an even glow. I try not to go tanning because of the harmful effects of the sun. This lotion gives you a nice even tan and it won't cause skin cancer. It's a win win.

These next two things I got from my other half for Valentine's Day. "Preppy Princess" by Vera Wang. I fell in love with "Princess" by Vera Wang a couple years ago and my daughter broke my first bottle when she was a toddler. I got the gift set for Xmas after that happened and I couldn't be happier with this perfume. Recently me and my beau saw the commercial for this new one "Preppy Princess" I immediately gasped and said "I want it!" Couple weeks later comes Valentine's Day and to my surprise it was one of my gifts.

I also got this portable/reusable perfume bottle. It's so pretty and convenient. It fits perfectly in even a small purse. You can put some of your favorite perfume in it and have it with you at all times for a refreshing spray on the go.

How to ease "Tired Eyes"

When someone says "You look tired" they are usually commenting on your eyes. Sometimes even after a full eight hours of sleep your eyes will look red and puffy. Here are a couple ways you can eliminate or help with the "Tired Eyes".

I know a lot of people prefer a hot shower in the morning, but a cool shower will stimulate the circulation in your body and will help reduce redness. If you absolutely cannot do a cool shower, after you shower wash just your face with cool water. Also using a peppermint cleanser will leave your skin feeling cool and alert.

If washing your face with cool water doesn't do the trick, a cold compress or a bag of frozen peas will do the job. The cold temperature will shrink the capillaries, reducing redness and puffy eyes.

A couple drops of Visine before applying your make up will take care of the redness and dryness in the eyes.

Another trick is applying a sparkly shimmer eye shadow in the hollow inner corner of the eyes. This will brighten and open up the eyes and will instantly make you look refreshed. Use a golden color if you have dark complexion, or a silvery or pearlrescent shade if you're pale.

Once you've done everything you can to the skin around the eyes, pull out your favorite eyeliner and line your water line. This is the inner rim of your lower lids. If you're not in the mood for dark makeup, get a nude eye liner.  This will cover the redness and brighten the eyes.

And sometimes none of this works because your problem is allergies. In this case take some over the counter allergy medicine, I've read Claritin works best.
